Working together with parents

Writing with Pen

I work with parents to help you understand why your child is finding aspects of studying challenging, and how best to help your child.

A full diagnostic dyslexia assessment involves a detailed exploration of your child's needs. This includes an assessment session with me, as well as collecting information from you and your child's school (if possible).

The assessment session usually takes between 2 and 3 hours and involves some fun and interactive assessment activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Personalised advice and support

Expert Guidance

Following the assessment session, I have a feedback session with parents before I send a comprehensive report. The report contains detailed individual outcomes about your child's needs and bespoke recommendations personal to your child.

After you have received your report, I remain available for advice or any questions that you may have.

I am delighted that students say that they find my assessment sessions engaging and fun. Both parents and schools comment that my clear and comprehensive reports help make decisions to support their child at school.

Please do get in touch if I can help. There is no cost for an informal chat!
